The club operates a subscription by direct-debit system using GoCardless through WebCollect, a GDPR compliant operator. GoCardless is one of the largest online payment partners through which you are fully protected by the usual Direct Debit Guarantees.
Membership is on an annual basis and direct debit membership payments are spread across 12 months. Those members who stop their payments in the closed season will forfeit the right to pay on a monthly basis and will required to make a single payment in full at the start of the new season together with any unpaid payments. Any members who do not make their payments will sadly be asked to leave the club.
At some point in the future, it is inevitable that subscriptions will increase. This will be approved by the committee and communicated to all members. If this is required the direct debits will automatically change and this will save all 500 members from having to manually change their standing orders. You will be notified beforehand of any changes in direct debits and have the option to cancel your membership.
