HALF A GAME INITIATIVE

At South Gower RFC we operate a 'Half A Game' policy which means guaranteed game-time for all young players at the club, whereby all U6s to U11s are given the opportunity to take part in a minimum of 'Half A Game'. For U12s to U16s equal play is expected and recommended for U19s.

U9s - Contact rugby is developed
U10s- Contesting the ball is introduced.
U11s - Lineouts are introduced.
U12s - Contested scrums and lineouts.
U14s - Full U19 IRB Laws apply.
