For the first game of 2025 at home to Bridgend Sports Club (4 January) instead of the usual £2 match-day admission we're asking supporters to bring a donation of food and/or essential items in support of Matthew's House.
Matthew's House provide unconditional hospitality for the most vulnerable people in Swansea including those struggling with homelessness, mental health and addictions.
The collection will be at the front gate with all donations qualifying for entry into the weekly raffle and a free top-up drink in the clubhouse.
Specifically, we are asking for:
Tinned Vegetables | Jars of Sauces | Herbs and Spices | Squash | Custard | UHT Milk | Rice Pudding | Chocolate | Biscuits | Coffee | Sugar
Please also consider forgotten essential items that can be included in Dignity Packs including:
Pants | Socks | Sanitary Pads | Tampons | Deodorant | Toothpaste | Toothbrushes | Tissues | Wet Wipes
A massive thank you to club stalwart Dai Weatherley for advocating for this charity day in aid of such a great cause and all the hard work he has done for the club throughout the years.
And many thanks to Nik Patel of Brynteg Surgery and Phil Jenkins of Gas Assessment & Training Centre for sponsoring the day.
