Managing your team on Pitchero (COACHES/MANAGERS ONLY) 1 of 3

1. Setting up your team

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

In order to setup and manage your team you need to be a Team Admin. You should have already been designated as a Team Admin for your team. However, if you aren't currently a Team Admin, or have been allocated to the wrong team, please contact the Website Manager.

To set up your Team you will need to access the Teams section via the Admin Dashboard on the South Gower website.

To access the Team section:

  1. login to your account using the same username and password you created when registering for your Pitchero account;
  2. click on your profile picture;
  3. select admin dashboard;
  4. click South Gower RFC under Clubs;
  5. click on Teams in the menu on the left-hand side and select your team.

You'll now be on your team page. Here you'll be able to do a variety of things.

UPDATE YOUR TEAM INFO SECTION

Add an introduction and important information about your team along with a team photo.

VIEW YOUR SQUAD AND OFFICIALS

The Team page shows you your current squad along with your coaches, team manager and team admins. If want to add or remove members (players / parents/ coaches / managers) you can do this in the Membership section (see more details in the MANAGING YOUR TEAM section)

ADD/MANAGE FIXTURES

You can add fixtures indivdually or import them from a spreadsheet. These will appear publicly on your Team Homepage and in the Club App for players, parents and members to see. However, you can choose to hide the fixtures on your team homepage by turning off 'Matches' in the Team Settings section (see below).

JOIN AN EXISTING COMPETITION OR CREATE YOUR OWN LEAGUE

Search for your league or cup competition using the Pitchero database. If your league doesn't exist in the Pitchero database you can create and manage your own table for your league.

For more information on creating tables click here

MANAGE YOUR PAGE SETTINGS

- Team Display settings
On your Team Homepage as well as basic information about the team you can feature Matches, League Tables, Squad (Player Profiles), Stats (Team and Match) and Match Reports. These can be toggled on and off in the Team Display settings section.

Everything other than Matches is set to 'Off' as default for all teams other than the Seniors and Youth. Squad and Stats should remain off for all teams from U6s through to U16s due to child protection guidelines. You can choose whether to publicly display a League if you wish.

You can choose to not display Matches on the Team Homepage. However, they will still be visible on the Matches section on the website and the Pitchero Club App.

Please note - any team selections which are 'published' will be visible to club members - players / parents / supporters - who have signed up for Pitchero and been authorised by the Website Manager.

- Privacy settings
Under the Privacy settings Player Profiles & Photos, Team Selections and Team Statistics are set to private as default which means that only Club Members - players / parents / coaches / / managers /supporters who have signed up for Pitchero and been authorised by the Website Manager - can view them on the website.

However, as Squad and Stats are 'turned off' for all teams from U16s down to U6s only Team Selections will be available to view. Please be aware though that if you 'publish a Team selection to members' player names will be visible in the app and on the website, but only to Members logged into Pitchero.

If you turn on Match Centre Statistics match highlights will appear on the match page. This will show match events such as tries, conversions and penalties, etc. You can add player names or keep players annonymous when updating match events in the Match Centre (see MANAGING YOUR TEAM section for more details about adding events).

- Social media settings
These settings have been purposely left blank. If you want to share anything on social media please speak to a member of the Communications team.

- Notification settings
Manage your automatic prompts for availability and team selection.

MANAGING YOUR TEAM

Once you've set up your team page you can manage your team using both the website dashboard and the Pitchero Manager App.
